Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Ukraine Aca Jovanovic, delivered credentials to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskiy in the presence of MFA of Ukraine Dmitro Kuleba and Advisor to President of Ukraine for Foreign Policy Ihor Zhovka on April 15, 2020.

During the meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskiy reaffirmed Ukraine's clear position regarding the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia, and thanked for the consistent support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine by the Republic of Serbia. In order to develop bilateral trade and economic cooperation, the parties agreed to intensify negotiations on the conclusion of the Free Trade Agreement and the resumption of work of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation. Volodymyr Zelenskiy and Aca Jovanovic also discussed further steps to strengthen contacts between the two countries.
