On May 25 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Serbia to Ukraine Aca Jovanovic met with Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vasyl Bodnar. During the talks, current issues in the field of bilateral cooperation were discussed. On this occasion, Ambassador Aса Jovanovic initiated the acceleration of the signing of the Free Trade Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and Ukraine. The issue of organizing political consultations between the two Ministries of Foreign Affairs was considered. The Ukrainian side raised the issue of accelerating the ratification of the signed Agreement on mutual extension of the visa-free regime from 30 to 90 days. During the meeting, Ambassador Aса Jovanovic expressed gratitude for Ukraine's principled position on the issue of non-recognition of the unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo. At the same time, Ambassador Aса Jovanovic informed the Ukrainian side about the activities that the Republic of Serbia is carrying out in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic and the vaccination process. In that regard, Ambassador Aса Jovanovic informed his interlocutor about the possibility of vaccinating foreign citizens in the Republic of Serbia.
