The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Ukraine and Georgia, Aca Jovanovic, visited Georgia from September 2 to September 6, 2021, during which he handed over Letters of credence to the President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili. During his visit to Georgia, Ambassador Jovanovic talked to Georgian officials about the development of bilateral relations between the two countries.

During his stay in Georgia, Ambassador Jovanovic also attended the opening of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Serbia in Tbilisi, emphasizing the importance of the institution of Honorary Consul for further deepening of the cooperation between Serbia and Georgia in numerous areas.
